Recycling normal cartridge razor blades is problematic because razors these days often have a combination of many materials such as plastic, rubber and metal. This makes them impossible to recycle at the end of their life, so they usually end up in landfill where they take hundreds of years to degrade.
Our razor blades are made from stainless steel and are 100% recyclable at end of life. However, used blades can be dangerous if not properly stored, and can cut open bin liners if put straight in the bin. For the easiest and safest way to store and recycle your used double edge stainless steel razor blades, Zero Waste Club have made this razor blade disposable tin to make the process of recycling the blades easier and safer than ever.
Compact and neat, it will fit discreetly into any bathroom and is small enough to fit into your wash bag when out and about or travelling and it holds up to 100 blades so changing blades regularly wont cause an issue when storing your used ones. What’s more, it’s a design that comes with the transparency of manufacture which is core to all products by Zero Waste Club.

Place your used razors in the slot and wait until the case is full. It fits around 100 blades. Once it is full, tape up the slot and place straight in your recycling. Don't worry about the tape, as it will get burnt off in the process of re-melting the metal.
