This is a fantastic soap! Traditional and authentic it’s known as “Grandmother” or ”Grand-Mère” soap and it’s a true slice or “Tranche” of Marseille tradition.
 
Uncompressed like the cube, it’s made by a process which creates a hard crust on the outside, leaving the inside soft. The slices are handcrafted from heavy 4kg bars, being cut, stamped, punched and stringed to create the original soap on a rope! You can hang it in the shower, use it as beauty product, an antiseptic cleaner, a natural insect repellent or even as a dog shampoo!
 
100% natural and authentically made, this soap is pH neutral, without additives, hypoallergenic, naturally biodegradable and is vegan friendly, contains no parabens, fragrances, colourings or EDTA. It is particularly gentle on the skin and will cleanse, soften, nourish and deeply moisturise the "old-fashioned" way!
