Made from sustainable raw materials, this long-lasting non-scratch washing-up pad is made from the Loofah plant. Flexible, durable and traditional, it’s an effective natural and biodegradable alternative to plastic scourers, brushes, exfoliators and sponges.
Loofahs have a spongey texture that’s perfect for washing dishes and lathering up our dish washing soap bars. Plus, they’re a bit more textured than supermarket scourers or sponges, which means they have more scrubbing power for removing dried-on food, but they’re still non-scratch and won’t damage your non-stick pans.
Whilst it may appear abrasive in its dry state, when immersed in water the pad will swell to become a soft and spongy flexible pad. It fits neatly into your hand and is soft and supple enough to fit into mugs and wine glasses too!
Hand made, each durable pad will last for about 3 months and as it’s made from a plant, it’s totally plastic and microplastic free. At the end of its natural life it can be composted.

Directions for use:
Use in warm water with washing-up soap.
For best results pre-soak and remove baked-on food first.
To keep your loofah fresh between uses, squeeze out any excess water, shake out any food particles and hang it to dry from the cotton loop. Occasionally pop it in the washing machine or boil in a pan for a couple of minutes.
